A meeting of tho South-End Cricket Club was held in Mr S. Hanson's rooms last evening, when Mr A. 1. 1 inch picsided over a good attendance oL members and routine business was transacted The question of the appointment of, a captain was discussed, and finally, it was decided that this should be left to the senior members to settle. Mr C. Warburton generously ottered a. gold medal for the best batting average for the season, the oiici being accepted with thanks.
