PERSONAL ITEMS.
Mr E. Lancelot Hayter is spending a short holiday in Timaru, after an absence of many years. The timaru Operatic Society "presented Mr E. Wood, conductor, with a silvermounted baton. Mr Wood thanked the members for the handsome present, and the members sang, "For He's an Englishman."
