FIRES.
Per Press Association. DUXEDLS", October 18. .A six-roomed house in King street, owned by Speight and Co., brewers, and occupied by Robt. Warren, was destroyed! by lire early this morning. The family retired at 10 o'clock last night, leaving everything apparently 6afe. A small fire was then burning in the ehting-room. The house and contents were completely destroyed. The house was valued at £SOO or £4OO, and the furniture at £225. The latter was injured in the New Zealand office for £2OO. The insurance on the house is not known.
