DISCOVERY OP WRECKAGE. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, October 17. Wreckage has been found on the West Coast, 30 miles south of Cape Maria Van Diemen. It consists of a spar about 11 inche* in diameter, and 50 feet long, also part "of a bow and scroll, all painted in red hematite, and parts of a bow painted white, but with no name. Pieces of doors with a white centre, and a .small flag divided verticallv, one-half iike the Union Jack, and the other half dark blue, have also been found. . A piece of American pine, which bad evidently, been need as a carpenter's bench on some vessel, was found at Oruawharo Bar, "Great Barrier.
