KE FREEZIXU OF IHOLT. In the gazette of the Bth hist., the following Oruer in Council wax pubi shed ie garding the keeping of trout in tivezing or tool chamheis during ibe dose season : 1. Any holder of a license to take trout by means of a rod and running line may, during ihe open season for tioui-usliiiig, place in any freezing or cool chamber any trout so taken, which may be kept in such chamber until requ'red by such li-cense-holder, subject to ihe i est lict ions as to weight hereinafter imposed. 2. When placing trout m a freezing or cool chamber ihe person it therein shall forthwith' furnish the secretary of the acclimatisation society in whose district such chamber it. situated with the number of the depositor's license, and the name ol the acclunatisaturn <iis"tricl in which ;t was issued, and also with a. written statement as to tlie minitKi and weight of trout placed iu such chamber, ana the dale such trout \wis piaeed therein.

The holder of a license shall not at any time be allowed to have more than fifty-six (56) pound*-total weight of tiout in any freezing or cool chamber.

S. The manager or person in charge of a freezing or cool chamber shall deliver any trout deposited therein. in manner aforseaid to their owner only to his order, when authorised to do so by" the secretary of the acclimatisation society, and such secretary shall giant the necessary authority when required by the owner to do 10. 6. The manager or tierson in charge of a freezing or cool chamber iu which trout are deposited shall keep a register thereof in a form set forth, and shall allow the acclimatisation society's secretary or iiehery officer to inspect such register a( auv time.

8. Any person committing a breach of the above regulations shall lie liable to a fine not exceeding twenty pounds.
