; The works committee reported (1) That. Point creek at the bridge had been cleaned out, and the Manse road repa'red'; (2) that they did not consider the Board ought to do the work applied for by K. Halstead, but ohould give- to lay piiK>s across footpath at his own expense. ,'. Thfe member explained that as-he' thought he knew more about the wort than the other two, it would be all right.
