WASHDYKE YARDS. The fortnightly sale of stock was held St the above yards yesterday, when there vac a yarding of 360 sheep. The entry consisted chiefly of medium and good -wethers, and there were- a few pens of prime ewes. It would appear that the fcutchers are amply supplied, as they were - not at all well represented at yesterday's iale." Bidding was very slow, and prices were in favourof buyers. Fat wethers made 17s to/18s, prime «wes 16» to 17s Id, medium «wes 12s 6d to 13s 6d, inferior «nd light were unsaleable. THE CHRISTCHURCH MARKETS. Per Press Association. CHRISTCHURCHJ Sept. 22.
