OPENING CEREMONY. In the afternoon, escorted by a guard furnished by the S.C.M.R., Lady Plunket will be driven to the hospital, to arrive there at. 2.30 for the ceremony. -"The Mayor and Mr Talbot will deliver short addresses, and Her Ladyahip will declare the* ward open. At.'4 p.m. Lady Plunket is to deliver a lecture in the Assembly Rooms on the promotion of the health of women and children, and it is hoped to we a good attendance.
