NAPIER. Sept. 17. The Arbitration Court, to-day the hearing of the freezing dispute.. It was contended for tlie employee that tbe lhpn's demands were extremely unreasonable when compared with the rates. o£ pay And conditions in other parts oftlie Dominion. For tlie. During proceedings it was pointed out that. . the slaughterirn-n were not now membeis of tlie Union. The Court adjourned till tomorrow.
