ARMY SCANDAL.

Captain Peter Hains, who shot William Annis, a New York publisher, at Long Island on August 17th, for the seduction of h:s wife, was 'Stationed at- Port Hamilton, and .had! sued for divorce, while Mrs Hains, on Annis's advice, counter-sued for divorce, alleging grave misconduct involving several' military officers. She declares Thornton Hains, who is the author of a " penny horrible," to be the villain of the tragedy, and' makes serious allegations, regarding army life at isolated pps'-o. All the parties are we'll known, and the case attracts a --on similar to that of th© Thaws.
