The match played between Ihe, Otago and the Timaru Ladies' Gold Clubs resulted in a win for the former by 2 4-18. Mr 1 ?. Bowe, vice-president of ihe Timaru .Club, kindly provided luncheon for ihe occasiqn, which was much appreciated by the player l -. The weather was very unfavourable, but. some good matches were played, and the results show that the teams -were'wry fairly matched.
