Messrs Dalgety and Co. report under date London, August stli: —"The tallow market is firm, but there is not much demand. Sales of beef premier jus have taken place at 48s 6d c.i.f. and there iftt; sellers of mutton premier jus at 42s 6d."
Tlie Canterbuty Farmers' Co-operative Association, Ltd., are in receipt of the following cable message-from their London office, tinder date August 6th, 1908: "The wheat market is favourably affected by higher American quotations, and is 6d per quarter dearer."
