GERALDINE STEEPLECHASES. The Geraldine Hunt held their annual steeplechase meeting yesterday, afternoon in Mr Connolly's paddock near the Hae-hae-te-Moana, and: the afternoon fine (a cold breeze blew up later) there was a good attendance of the irablic, who witnessed some good contests. The going was a bit heavy, but not extremely so, and 'the meeting was almost remarkable for the fewness of spills.
