Storan arrived from Lyttelton yesterday afternoon, and after loading 40 tons of flour for Wanganut sailed for that port via Dunedin. J The Union Company's s.<s. Rosamond arrived from Oreymouth last night. Her cargo for this port consists of 111,560 feet of timber for various merchants, and 93 tons of Point Elizabeth coal for V. C. Turnbull and Co. The agents of the Union Company hare received, advice that the s.s. Wanafca is expected to leave Auckland on Tuesday afternoon for Limestone Island, Wellington, Dunedin, Bluff, Oamaru, and Thnaru, and should reach this port about August 15th. She will land stigar and general cargo here. The Union Company's s.s. Corinna arrived from Wellington shortly after 1 p.m. yesterday, and proceeded to discharge about 50 tons of general cargo, and a number of sheep, which are to be railed on to a southern station. The Corinna sailed for Dunedin a few hours later, and will, on her return here on Tuesday, load produce for Wellington, Nelson and Hew Plymouth-

. KOUCjII TRIPS. SYDNEY, July 31. The steamer Inga experienced a violent hurricane after clearing the New Zealand coast. The rigging was damaged through the deck cargo getting adrift, and a bmall p'art of the cargo was washed overboard. The" s.s. Enerdale encountered terrific weather. The deck-house on the bridge deck was carried away. One of the crew had iis leg broken.
