! THE UNIVERSITY? BILL.
Press Association-By Telegraph-Copyngh Received 4.30 p.m., July 26th. LONDON, July 25. The University. Bill has passed through the report stage. The Nonconformists vainly endeavoured to compel amendment that students in affiliated institutions should complete two academical years in the constituent colleges of the University of Dublin or Belfast before obtaining their degree. Mr'Birrell agreed to omit the concession which alloived the erectiou from private funds of chapels within the precincts of constituent colleges.
Mr Redmond deeply regretted Mr Bir rell-s withdrawal of the concession.
