Tennant- (Liberal) member for Berwickshire, speaking at the Liberal Colonial Club, said he hoped that under the wise guidance of the Earl of Crewe, and Colonel Seely, the Colonial Office would do something it<> give reality and permanence to the plan for the Secretariat discussed by the Imperial Conference. He added that the Club's object was to fester and stimulate a sympathetic and intelligent attitude on colonial questions.
