Sheppard (America) won the 1500 metres race in 4min 3 2-ssec. Lynch (New .South Wales) was beaten in his heat, Flanagan (Ameiical won. the hammerthrowing with 170 feet. Tartakover (New .South Wales) had a bye in t>he 400 metres swimming event. Cooke (New Soujh Wales) was beaten in his heat. Beaurepaiie (Victoria) won his heat in smin 49sec.
