The.Shaw, Savill and Albion Company's Matatua (Dalgety and Co., agents) arrived from Port Chalmers about 4.30 on Saturday.afternoon, and was brought into harbour and berthed at the" main wharf. She "will load frozen meat, wool, etc., for-the Home; markets.
Hatrick' and, Co. are having a further vessel" built.-for- the Taumarnnui and Wanganui river service, to enable a daily eervfce' to be run next. summer -in conj miction..with^the establishment of through trains' between Auckland and Wellington.
