COURT OF APPEAL.
Par Pre«i Association. WELLINGTON, July 9. When the Court of Appeal sat to-day Mr Skerrett applied to the Court to hear a matter as to a caveat lodged by a M. Jones ( "Mokau" Jones) against certain land in the Mokau distric.. Mr Jones was in Court, and complained that he could not hear, and insisted' on his right to hear, so that he could instruct counsel in answer to the Court. Mr Tread well said that he appeared for .\lr Jorj-.s, and Judge> Williams said that he had better look after him. Mr 'i'readweLl intimated that he was tTying to do so. The hearing of the case was fixed for Monday week.
