At the Supreme Court, Maou "Whara Kiingii was .sentenced <•■> two years' imprisonment for forgery and' uttering.
DUXEDIX, May 29. At liiL', Supreme Court, to-day, Joseph Coddoi was acquitted on a charge of manslaughter arising out of the collision in the lower harbour on April 18th. Counsel for the defence contended that accused was quite justified iu taking the course lie did, and that there w».s nothing for him but to take such a course as the Lady Roberts was- steering a ragged course on the wrong side of (he chann:-!.
