A WOMAN'S TRICK. Pr«6B Aflsociation-Bv LONDON, May 20. A ladv and gentleman at Manchester, who were about to . start for Liverpool,, deposited in the guard's van four packages. The guard himself did not s«e them deposited. Shortly afterwards another lady informed the guard that she had be.en compelled to postpone her journey, and obtained from him the largest of the four packages, which contained £20,000. worth of securities and jewellery. The owners discovered their loss at. Warrington, and the woman was arrested at Liverpool in the possession the jiackage. She declined to reveal her identity.
