THE BOARD, in pursuance of 4he power in that behalf conferred by "The Education Act, 1904," hereby directs that Public Meetings of the Householders in the School Districts of Adair Belfield Burke's Pass Chamberlain Esk Valley Orari Ooi] Orton Hakataiamea Rangitata Scotsbttrn Waitohi Flat Island be held on MONDAY, June Ist. at 7.30 o'clock in the evening, for the ELECTION of SCHOOL COMMITTEES for such Districts for the current year. The place of meeting shall be the Sehoolhouse in each district. The Board further directs that the iir.-l meeting of each School Committee be held in the place appointed- for the election, and immediately after the election, upon the same evening. The Board also calls upon the Householders in each of the Districts to send in to the Chairman of the School Committee, in writing, on or before MONDAY, the 2tsh May, the name* of Persons being Resident Householders nominated by than> for such election, to serve upon the Committee.
