BUSINESS HOUSES DESTROYED* LOSS OP LIFE. Press Aissociation-ByTeleeraph-Copyriglit Received 1.5 a.m., May 14th. MELBOURNE, May 13. A fire broke out at the Fire Kindler Factory ,to-day and destroyed;' several buildings in the vicinity. One employee at the Kindler factory was burned to. death and four otherv workmen were- badly burned. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, May 13. A two-storeyed, house in .Stanley street, owned by Mr A. M. Myers, and occupied by Mr A. Lewis?, was gutted, and its'-con-tents totally destroyed by fire. The family escaped in their night attire by way of the verandah, the' roof of the lower storey being ablaze when the outbreak was discovered. The ' fire wa3 eatir-ed by clothes left before the kitchen fire becoming ignited. NEW PLYMOUTH, May 13 .
