Men and women refused to permit Mrs. Fawcett and Mrs. Despard to address a Suffragist demonstration afc Cardiff. They smashed the window.; of the h>U, and captured the banners and mottoes of the Suffragists. They also stormed the platform compelling, the kdias to flee. This action .was intended as a revenge for the Suffragists tactics at the Dundee election.
