The conditions were two matches at 2CO. 300, and 500 yards, and three matches at 600 and 700 yards. TEMUKA v. TIMARU CITY. A team representing the Temuka Rifles journeyed to 'Timaru yesterday to try conclusions in a. frieendly match with the City Rifles. The conditions were seven shots (with two optional sighters) at 200 and SCO yards. The: match ended in a. -win for the home team by 65 points. After the match the visitors were entertained by Ihe Cities at the Commercial Hotel, after which the visitors left for home by the second express, one and all declaring that they had had an enjoyable outing.
