A yacht with two men named Rush and Thomas Si'niih wan sailing opposite Waverley about noon, when a Iqnall struck the boat, which capsized. Both men were thrown into the water. Rush managed to make hi- way ashore, but Smith went down and his body has not yet been recovered. Deceased was a. single h'.an 25 years of age.
