yha ratepayers of Mirimar at a poll taken to-day endorsed by 150 votes to 11 the proposals or the Borough Council to borrow £71,000 for drainage, Water supply and streets improvement.
'GORE, Dec. 6.
A poll was taken to-day cn a proposal to raiss £IO,OGC —£6000 for a new town hall, £5009 for wattr supply extension and £IOOO for electric light extension. All the proposals were defeated.
