The "wheat and flour afloat, for the; United' Kingdom amount to 1,985,000 quarters, and for the' Continent to 1,120,000- quarters. The Atlantic shipments for the week .total 394,000 .quarters, and the Pacific .''shipments' 57,.000 .quarters. . NAPIER WOOD (SALES. Dec. 5. , ,At. the wool sales .to-day the top pries 12-i-d was realised for a. fine sample of •corriedale wool. Fine crossbreds sold up vo-9£d; medium crossbred to B|d coarse to 9d, and best halfbred to lid.' The drop was from 2d to 3d per lb all ro-un'd. Messrs Dalgety and Co. advise under date London, December 2nd:—" We. expect, a decline of 5. per cent., in pric-re of sheepskins, especially' clothing, at next sales. We expect no improvement in the immediate -future. : The- wool -sales continue without further change-. The tal-low-market is somewhat firmer -owing to Russian orders."
