A deputation of towns-people, headed by the Mayor, waited on Mr Reece, chairman of directors of the W'tstport-Stock-ton Coal Company to-night and urged that he place before his fellow-directors the question of keeping the company free from an agreement with the U.ci.S. Company or any other company, eo that' coal could be quoted f.o.b.
