DURATION- OF THE SESSION. Special—By Telegraph. WELLINGTON, November 5. Members have all got r.he home fever and are rrslless and -tired of the session. This is not, according to the Premier, to terminate before the 20tli irtst., and lie told the House so .this afternoon, when be read a very long list of Bills which he stated the Government intended putting tlnough. Members received tie list incredulously, some considering that there was enough business in the Premier's programme to keep tliem going for fuliy another two months. AGRICULTURAL LABOURERS. The Premier has decided to take up Mr Flatm;m's Agricultural Labourers' Accommodation Bill as a. Government measure. Certain amendments, however, are required to make the Bill acceptable to the Government.' It its intended' to place the measure on tlie statute book this scesion. THE HARBOURS BILL. To-day, on the motion of the Premier, this Bill was referred to a select committee of the. House. Mr Duncan objected to tilie personnel of the committee, because Timaru and! Oamaru were not represented. He pointed out that the harbour boards of these two districts possessed large rating powers, and as they were d'oing pretty well the whole of. thenwork from rates, lie considered' mey should have representation, on the committee. The Premier, on consideration, agreed to add Messrs Duncan and l'latman to tho committee.
