THE TIMARU SHOW.
To tlie Editor of the "Timaru Herald.'' Sir.—l should like to ask the secretary of the Timaru A. and P. Society through your columns how the results were -ar-rived-at in class 149—for best dairy cow —as I have been informed that the milk was not -weighed cither by the' Show officials or by any of the factory stafiJ where it was tested. I understood when I entered a cow in this class that the prize was to be awarded to the one giving the highest quantity of butter fat for the period of test—l2 hours—and if such was tlie case., how could this be ascertained ?f Hie quantity of milk produced was not taken into consideration as well as the test?—l am, etc. COMI'ETITOIt.
