Pater .son's bowling was very good, and lis took 7 wickets fyr 19 runs. Winchester in their .second innings made 86. J. Paterson, who went in iirst, just missed carrying his bat ae he Mas last' man out. He made ■23 as the result of patient play. J. De Renzy made 20 mitli some tine strokes. Geraldine thus won by eleven runs oil the first innings. Ilie Winchester team showed much improved play, and in De Renzy and Paterson they have two promising players.
