Toroa, s-S.. to-day. Camphill. s.s., to-day. Harbart, s.s., to-day. Aymerie. s.s.. to-day. Rakanoa. s.s., on. Saturday. Te Anati,' ?.s.. on Monday. Wanaka/ s.s., on Tuesday. There- were no arrivals or departures nesterdar. " What" is stated to be the largest cargo of hardwood vet despatched from Sydner for anv New Zealand port by sailing vessel was" brought by the barque Helen Denny, which arrived" at Wellington lastweek." The shipment comprises 615 pieces hardwood, 5495 sleepers, and 23 piles, which is equal to about oOO.COOft. Captain Wylie etates that the trip of the Wimmera from Sydney to Wellington was the roughest he ever experienced. The- vessel was hove to twice. About 500 cases of fruit- were washed overboard, and 15 merino flock rams consigned to Wright. Stephenson and Co., Dunedin. were killed. Mi- Stead's horses, which were on board,- arrived in good condition. The ship did not- suffer damage, except for the carrying away of part- of the railing.
