Fine m«- : incs, which are well conte*?ted for, advanced five centimes,' arid ' ordinaries five centimes. Lambs' -wool sold at equal to July rates. Crossbre-d's 'are quiet, and neglected. Two thousand five hundred and thirty-four bales of La Plata wool were offered, and 947 sold.
The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, have received the' following, cable .message from their London office in regard to the forthcoming series of wool i:alej:—" We • think a rise of about 5 per cent', is' likely to take place for meiino and fine crossbred, while for greasy crossbred the tone of the market is firmer."
