COACH ACCIDENT.
MIRACULOUS ESCAPE. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, September 13. Last evening the Wairoa coach while proceeding from Napier to Wairoa, tumbled down an -embankment at Kakariki. The outside passengers jumped off, after the driver had endeavoured to prevent the accident by getting hold of the leaders, the leading reins having broken. Two of the outside passengers had miraculous escapes. The coach was smashed but no one was seriously injured. The coach and horses rolled down one hundred feet.
