GENERATOR BLOWN UP.
YOUTH SERIOUSLY INJURED. Per Press Association. GR-KYMOUT'H, (September 18. A serious explosion occurred at Cobden last evening when a youth named Have.-', 16 years of age, -was badly injured. He was fixing an acetylene generator for ill- Taylor, who was standing watching when it exploded. The shed was blown to pieces and Hayes was found among the debris unconscious and bleeding profusely. Taylor had a miraculous escape sustaining only slight injuries. The doctor found that Hayts was- suffering from a deep wound on the. forehead, his left eye was blown out. the little linger on the left hand was blown off, and tho Angers on his right hand shattered. The patient- is veiY low, and is suffering trom the shock. "
