Charles Johnson, charged with driving within the boiough without lights, pleaded guilty, saying in extenuation that lie had broken his lamp. He was fined IQ> and costs, and allowed three days to pay. Ernest Willpughby, who did not appear, was charged ' with cycling in Stafford etreet la?t- Saturday night-without- a light. He was fined 10s and costs. John Lambert, for being found drunk.in North street on Thursday, vas fined 5s and costs. John Egan, charged with, allowing a chimney to take, fire, pleaded that the fire vas an accident. He was fined 5s and costs. T. Wells, charged with drunkenness, pleaded guilty, and excused himself by giving the old story about coming into tovn, and meeting a fev friends. He vas fined 5s and costs. JUVENILE'S COURT. A boy under 16 yeans of age, was charged with having a firearm in his possession, and discharging it- in a public place. He was convicted and discharged, and the rifle was confiscated.
