At an inquiry into the death of a woman as a result.-of gas poisoning-, the Government Analyst, said that the gas -supplied in Sydney contained. a much higher percentage of carbon monoxide; than the gas used in England: The city health officer, while, agreeing, with the dangerous character of monoxide did nob coincide with the Government Analyst's opinion that Sydney gas was dangerous to the .public health.
