COACH FOR PLAYERS. Press Association-By Telegraph-Copyright MELBOURNE, June' 19. The Melbourne Cricket Club has engaged •J. IV. M. Mackay, an ex-Sydney player, now of South Africa. His services will be utilised as a coach for prominent players. Mr Mackay recently met with an accident by being run down by a motor cycle. TOO COSTLY GROUNDS. SYDNEY, June 19. The Cricket Association object to paying the Trustees 20 per cent, of the takings for ground -expenses, while football matches pay only to 15 per cent, of the takings.
