THEATRE ROYAL.

PERRY'S BIORAMA.

Perry's British Biorama Company commenced a two-night's season here la&t evening, when the downstairs portion of the house waa well filled, and there was a very fair number in the dress circle. A good programme of kinematograph films of good quality was presented, a number of them illustrating portions of the great cities of Europe, while several of the more famous scenic localities were also shown. The programme was opened with a long picture entitled A Tour through Paris,".this being a very line representation of i the Paris Exhibition buildings as seen from the river front. " The Entrance to Lisbon" and " Lisbon from air Elevation" were a- couple of excellent panoramic views, while scenes in Geneva, Niagara, and other roS?d places were also good!. " The usu;d instalment of humorous films proved popular, several new pictures and alio a few- old favourites being introduced during the evening. "The Melon Patch," "The Hoodoo Automobile," and ".Me and my Two Pals," were responsible for a good deal of amusement. Altogether the picture part of the programme was. of excellent quality,. the majority of the kinematograms being very clear, though one or two otherwise good pictures were somewhat marred by flickering. During the'evening solos and , duets were- rendered by the sisters Brady, and those were well received. The company will present achange of programme this evening, when another large attendance is expected.
