WIDOW SHOT DEAD. Press Aisociution-BvTelegraph-Copyright Received 9.30 p.m., May 23. LONDON, May 23. John Langford Crumpe, a septuagenarian of Auckland, New Zealand, enquired at Southsea, concerning a property wherein lie is interested. He claimed relationship to Mrs Crumpe, a barrister's widow, formerly of Tasmania. He interviewed her yesterday; the report of firarms was heard, and "a servant rushing into the room saw her fall dead, shot through the breast. Crumpe left the house, and surrendered to the police.
