Subject to any necessary alterations mails will close daily as under: — For Christchurch, 6 a.m., 12.50 p.m., and 6 p.m. For Wellington and northern ports 12.50 p.m., and 6 p.m. Saturdays. For Oamaru and Waimate, 6 a.m., 11 a.m., and 3 p.m. For Dunedin, 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. For Temuka and Geraldine, 6 a.m., 12.50 p.m., and 6 p.m. The usual whiter service to Lake Pukaki, namely, once a week, is resumed from Ist inst., to 31st October.
Friday, May 17th. For Chatham Islands, per Ripple, at 6 p.m.
Saturday, May 18th. For Australian States, India China. South Africa, Continent of Europe, and United Kingdom (due London, June 30th, via Brindisi, at- 3 p.m. Wednesday. May 22nd.
