At- the Temaka Live Stock Market yesterdav, there wa.-f a splendid entry of exceptionally good stock ever submitted to public auction The attendance of farmers, butchers and others was large, and the sale was thoroughly good. The yarding comprised 95C0 sheep. 250 cattle, and 185 pigs? and aim ut a complete clsarance of every line was effected at the following quotations Fan shsep and lambs. —Butchers' ewes 14s 3d, 15s Id, les sd, 16s: fat lamb.-; 15.; Id. 15s 6d, 15s- 9d to 16s; store sheep and lambs—4, 6. and 8-tooth ewes 15s Id. 15s 5d to 18s 4ci; forward store lambs lis 6d. 12s 6d, 12s 3d, 13s od to 14s.
