WAIMATE HOSPITAL.

/Ilia monthly meeting-of the Waimate Hospital Trustees was held on Wednesday. A letter was received from Miss H. McLean, ussu3tam\ inspect or. of Hospitals., stating thatthe ./Trustees' request Vor'payment for two j'Government probationer nurses would be allowed by the- Minister, vhe Trustees' explanation of the position of other nurses' being satisfactory;. The surgeon's report stated that 38 patients had been treated during the of whom 1 18 still remained in hospital. .There were' also 24 out patients treated. .The matron reported that £ll 15s 9d had been paid by patients during the month.
