The new season's crop of cowgrass is new being placed on the market, and the quality ■so far shows an improvement on last year. Several sales of prime seed have taken place at 7d to 7£d. A few lines of cocksfoot continue to find their way on to thelocal market, and a line of 131b bright seed has changed hands at 4£d, plus freight.
