PANIC-STRICKEN PARENTS. NEW YORK, June 28. .An extraordinary panic occurred in twenty New York schools, owing to a report that the doctors intended to cut the tonsils of thousands of foreign Jewish children to prevent them speaking anything except English. Parents rushed to rescue their children, and much rioting ensued. The doctors were assaulted while performing slight operations for adenoids. The pohce restored order, and closed the schools. THE RECENT MASSACRE. PEKIN, June 28. An indemnity of £47,000 has been granted by China to the surviving child of Mr Kingham, the missionary who was massacred at Nanchang.
