In the afternoon I auctioned a large number of oilskins, knives, forks, and spoons. "I also sold 20 half chests of tea at a satisfactory figure. Throughout the week I disposed of a'large quantity of furniture and produce at fair prices. Next Wednesday the naraal fortnightly sale of wool, skins, and fat will be held. On Thursday the 2Sth, T will sell the furniture and effect* at Nurse Liry'a private hospital "Ettrtck Back." I wish to draw special attention to this sale as everything is in splendid condition.
