HIBERNIAN SOCIETY.
Per Press Association. AUCKLAND. March 1. The annual meeting of the Hibernian Society of Xew Ze.->hnd - was opened today, branches throughout the colony being represented. The report states* that there is a steady increase in the membership. The sum of £5459 from the Funeral Fund was invented in good city freehold security. Bro. Xerheny was elected president: Bro. .John. Curbett, vice-president: Bro. W. Kane, secretary; and Bro. M. Sheahan. treasurer.
