My Customers and the Public will be able to judge the value of-this assertion bv reading the following Certificate from, the Abattoir Manager: Timaru, Feb. 20th, 1906. Mr. B. Gould, Butcher, Timaru. The following are the numbers and class of Cattle killed by Mr B. Gould at the Timaru Abattoirs from the 11th of May, 1905, to the 19th February, 1906.—Bullocks, 104; heifers, 6; cows, 7; total, 117. Sheep returns are not obtainable at the Abattoirs, the sexes not being classified. T. G. LILICO. Re Messrs McWhirter and Sons' other assertion that they kill nothing but steer beef and wether mutton, if they are able to prove this for the same period (also bv the Abattoir Manager's certificate) I will deposit £5 with the Mayor, to be given to any charitable institution he may direct.
