After discussion, a motion; by Mr K. Mayo, was carried, authorising; a bracelet, va'.ued at 30s, for pigeons.. It-oras decided also to give a bracelet, : valued at 30s, fori canaries, to encourage competition. ~ Mr Howard, the president announced;', had again presented', th'e- So.ciety with a sheep for the guessing competition. A fresh scale of prizes was suggested by Mr W. Lillico, and provided* for three prizes; where the prizes did not exactly fit the entries, the balance went to the Society ; and where special prizes were given, the Society took the entries and allowed the special prize. Another suggestion of similar importance was brought forward : and was adopted. Cash donations go to the Society,, but trophies are to be presented. to tire winners.
